How does the UWSF fund its programs?
The United Warrior Survivor Foundation is supported by individual and corporate donations and sponsorship funding raised primarily through Operation: Frog Friends.

What is Operation: Frog Friends?
Operation: FROG FRIENDS is the United Warrior Survivor Foundation’s national fund-raising campaign.

FROG FRIENDS enables corporations, businesses and individuals to make contributions that will significantly impact the Foundation’s abilities to fulfill our mission of serving the needs of Special Operations families.

Fundraising events have included: Gala Dinners, Concerts, Silent Auctions, Triathlons, Surfing Contests, and Golf Tournaments. And future plans include many other creative athletic and community events. FROG FRIENDS fundraising activities afford donors and opportunity to donate directly and/or to solicit pledges while actively showing their support for Special Operations personnel and their families.

 
HOW YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!

There are many practical, helpful and constructive ways YOU can make a difference!

  • Mail in your tax deductible check or money order.

  • You can make a one-time donation or recurring (monthly/quarterly) donation with your credit/debit card. Because UWSF’s web site donations are administered by a nonprofit service provider through a secured site to protect your privacy, your credit card statement will read "GIVEDIRECT" not "United Warrior Survivor Foundation.”  Using a third party processor helps us reduce our costs and allocate more time and money on our programs & services which support the families of America’s brave Special Operations Heroes who gave their life for our freedom. 




  • Combined Federal Campaign (CFC) The United Warrior Survivor Foundation, CFC # 96350, is proud to be the recipient of the "Best of CFC" awarded by the Independent Charities of America.The Combined Federal Campaign is an annual employee giving program for the Department of Defense.  A special thank you to all of our CFC supporters.  Please know that information about your contribution is not released to us until the Spring of the following year, and you must check the box indicating the release of your information to us. 

  • Make a Paypal contribution.
  • Enroll in your employer’s Gift Matching Program (many businesses offer such programs though employees are often unaware of them… so be sure to ask your HR manager)
  • Encourage your employer to match your gift if there is no matching gift policy already instituted
  • Become a UWSF corporate or public event sponsor[Click here for contact info]
  • Donate a car, boat or other vehicle to UWSF through Cars 4 Causes (and be sure to select UWSF as your Charity of Choice on the donation page)
  • Include UWSF in your estate planning and last will and testament
